Merv Johnston MHRINZ
HR Consultant / Director

Merv specialises in employment relations and human resource issues. Much of his work is based on his ability to interpret and apply employment law and human resource theories as practical workplace solutions.

Merv is actively involved in developing and negotiating employment agreements, has a strong background in performance management and works with clients to recruit and select staff. In addition to consultancy work, Merv develops and delivers a range of training and development programmes.

   

Linda Penno BA. LLB
Employment Law Specialist / Director

Formerly a partner in a law firm, Linda comes from a specialist employment law background.

Her experience on several boards lends a strong commercial aspect to her advice which includes dealing with Board performance and governance issues.

Linda has extensive experience in employment related compliance issues: drafting and advising on all employment documents; guiding clients through the correct procedures for non-performance management and disciplinary meetings. She regularly represents employers in personal grievance and other claims and also runs training and development programmes.

   

Karen Tindall M.Sc. (Applied Psych)
Organisation Development Consultant

Karen recently returned to Christchurch after three years in Dublin where she worked for the Human Resources department of Allied Irish Bank, Capital Markets Division. Previously Karen ran her own Business Performance Consultancy for three years in Christchurch.

She assists clients in improving business performance through aligning individual/team performance and behaviour on the job, to the needs of their customers and the direction of their business.

In working with clients, her emphasis is on involving staff at all levels to: identify what 's working well and can be built upon; identify what things need to be improved and how (systems, processes, people), and facilitating win/win/win solutions for the business, employees and customers.

Karen also has extensive experience in designing and delivering customised training programmes to develop individuals and teams.

   

Chris Bayly
Business Manager

Chris has a comprehensive background in office management. She brings a diverse knowledge to the role with experience in executive search, recruitment, legal practice, and the manufacturing industry.

Chris provides a liaison between the company and our clients as we continue to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service.
